This is the 3rd cake which I have done for Roxanne 3 years consecutively since age 5.

I ' m so glad that Ronald & Rosemarie Corpuz had choosen Sha's Baking Passion to be part of their beloved daughter's birthday celebration!

Sha's Baking Passion - Wedding Cakes & Cupcakes

Last couple of days have been very hectic for me. I slept either at 1 am or 2 am doing the first wedding cake order for the year 2014 for Sha's Baking Passion.
This project reminds me of my own wedding many years back ...and the sweet memories playing on my mind. We shared the same wedding theme color , purple and white .
But its not me alone in this project ,  I have a team who's also involve , namely my beloved niece Dian Farhana and my ever supportive sister in-law Aslimah  who masters in flower decoration. Its great to have family around to work together and share ideas.Guess what I found out ...suddenly my SIL  indirectly becomes my intern ....well she's enjoying it haha!

But the sacrifices are all worth it ! Do look at the result below :)

Surprise Gift from a client

I was so excited to complete the all chocolate Rainbow cake. Each  layer generously spread with Nutella covered with chocolate ganache  & surrounded by Kit Kat chocolate and top up with colorful M & M's chocolate emmm yummy!! ( A lil' bliss in every bite @ Sha's baking Passion)
At 11.30 as promised my client came to collect the cake and to my surprise she handed me a little bag with with quilt material .....oh wow wondering what  pleasant surprise or a belated Christmas gift ...hahaha!

When I took it out, it was a beautiful kitchen apron that suits my passion well! That was so thoughtful of Su.
She bought it when she was out shopping with her mum.
Thank you Su for the sweet little gift.

My Rainbow Cupcakes Ordeal

Didn't realise making rainbow cupcakes can be so dreadful !
I made rainbow cupcakes this morning for a relative who is getting engaged tomorrow. Its my first time making rainbow cupcakes and I didn't know that its so frustrating . Nevetheless she complimented after taking a bite thinking if it should be sent to the other party ...hahahah!

I' m not sure if anyone of you who have tried making rainbow cupcakes experienced the same frustration like I do .
Its kills me to see :
1) My cupcakes over flown ( looks puffy ) if I put too much batter
2)To see the paper linings disintegrate if I don't put enough batter .
I find it hard to balance between these two.

However the second batch I made this morning looks much better compared to the ones I did yesterday. Its less puffy but 1 - 2 cupcakes has its side disintegrate. This really upset me!

Here's the pictures of my Rainbow cupcakes.

Has anyone come across  this experience . Do comment and share at least I'm not alone :)

My experience making Rainbow Cake is so much better compared to rainbow cupcakes. You don't  have to worry  as to whether you put enough batter or if it will disintegrate from the linings.
But no matter what , nothing can stop me from doing my passion !

My Successor

I am not much of a writer but I am trying my best to write my blog mainly on my passion which is baking. I m glad that lately I find a legacy who will continue my passion and decided to train her as much as I could so our dreams can come true.
To her its an accidental talent cos she loves to eat but with the high rate of metabolism she's not fat that's what makes me jealous ....hahahah! Well, partly it could be my aging factor, losing weight is hard ...hahahah!

My ever beautiful niece- Dian Farhana.

After letting her known of my dream we've decided to visit the parlour that had inspired us in London . Its the most popular cake parlour which I m sure everyone knows www.peggyporschen.com for baking and cake lovers your visit to London is incomplete if  you did not drop by Peggy Porschen cake parlour. I did not know about Ms Peggy Parlour until recently. Otherwise I would have visited her parlour when I was in  London 3 years ago .
I 'm head over heels with her cakes and the beautiful decor of the Peggy Porschen cake store . God's will we shall be there in no time!
